I LOVE this! I liken this to the expression principles above personalities! It’s so easy to apply to our kids, especially when they’re as cute as your little fella! I’ve discovered fear plays a big role in both my need to control and unrealistic expectations! Exploring fear has been super helpful! So has meditation!

Thanks for the reminder Jeff. I always operate with a simple processes when I find I’m getting frustrated/mad and that is to remember that I can’t possibly know everything that person is going through. I remind myself to be forgiving and have the best understanding I can, even if I have to make it up. Like “oh, they probably ran over a cat this morning. I’d be brainless, too, dealing with that”. However, if you do know everything they’re going though and they have no excuse for their shortcomings, scream at them! Ha!…kidding.
